Community Room
The Community (NU) Room at Newport Utilities may be reserved by our customers for showers, wedding receptions, meetings, reunions and dinners. Only non-profit organizations may reserve the Community (NU) Room and reservations are made on a first come – first serve basis. NU provides tables and chairs for each event, but there are no kitchen facilities.
We require a damage deposit which is held until after each function, but is returned to the customer if they have complied with the rules and regulations for using the room.
Events must be scheduled between 5:30pm - 10:00pm Monday thru Friday unless approved by our General Manager. Events on Saturday and Sunday must be scheduled between 8:00am - 10:00pm.
